About Your Teacher

I have yet to find anything as fun as a room of kindergarteners! Learning to read and write is one of the most powerful things we can do. I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten and helping students master these skills. I have been teaching for six years and I have decided that Quail Run Elementary is the best school there is! I grew up in Walnut Creek, California and attended Saint Mary's College of California for my undergraduate education as well as my teaching credential. I can't imagine a better place to live. My husband and I enjoy going to Lake Tahoe on the weekends. We love to snowboard in the winter and hike in the summer. I have visited 17 countries and I have learned so much from all of my travels. I enjoy bringing these experiences into my classroom. I am looking forward to an exciting year full of laughter, learning and new friends.
